One star because it's super cute, but it's a piece of garbage. You have to rotate a handle on the side just so you can press down the capture button. Then it takes FOREVER to capture. First it has to focus, then captures, and finally it saves, only then you can rotate the handle again to take another photo.

And the picture quality totally sucks! iPhone does take way better pictures. The interface is awful and there really are only three buttons that do anything. All the other buttons are just expensive flare. There are no cool features that make this camera worth the money. I'd rather have one of those 4 lens cameras that take four images on one picture, all fish-eyed. Or the ones for $75 with the weird colored lenses. Like the toy cameras on the Urbanoutfitters website.

Opening the bottom to get the sd card out is a major pain, but not nearly as much as trying to get the thing back on. The instructions that came with our camera were in Japanese, so we had no help there either!

This was a gift. Not only did they send the wrong color, but their return policy makes it impossible to return without incurring a restocking fee. I called customer service at Adorama and the woman I spoke to couldn't be nastier. I told her we ordered it from amazon and that it took a week just to get here, and she didn't want to hear it. "I've sent you the return policy ma'am." Which I had to go online to view, then I had to call their customer service number to get the returns address (was not on the return policy page). Which they don't give you over the phone, they email it to you. Why wouldn't they just print it on the invoice like every other business????
This woman was so rude she didn't even ask me what my email address was. She sent it to the one they had on file, which is my husbands email. So I had to get him involved in all of this fiasco too.
I'm so livid! This was such a sweet thing for my husband to buy me a cute camera, and it's not cheap! Then it turns out it's a total waste of money and they make it so hard for you to return that you are miserable for a week just trying to get them to take it back. They don't even want it.

My iPhone takes better photos -- and it's almost the same price June 28, 2008

Saw this online and got really excited, so I went to my local shop and bought one. First of all, this thing is much tinier than you think - it's the size of a key chain - literally. Secondly, it takes way too much effort to get the bottom piece off to insert your battery/memory card (not a big deal if you only have to replace the battery once in a while, but since this camera doesn't have a USB port, you have to open it all the time to pull out the memory card and it takes FOREVER to finagle it open).

The interface of "menus" on this camera are awful - yes, it's a 1" screen, so they had to work with limited space, but what's with all of the fake "buttons" on the exterior of the camera that don't actually do ANYTHING?! The camera has almost no options and the photos are TERRIBLE quality. No matter what setting you put the camera on (there are three - S, M, L) the photos are SUPER overly compressed. When you pull them into the computer, they look worse than some camera phones. My iPhone takes better photos and it's cheaper than this camera! The photos have very bad JPG compression on them.

I strongly suggest NOT buying this camera. It would be worth it as a fun little toy around $40-$50, but at $325 - WHAT THE HELL?! Don't get it! I'm returning mine tomorrow!
