I purchased this camera from a retail store on clearance. I purchased it for emailing photos, solely for internet fun. For that, it is great, as I was using my 35MM camera and printing/scanning photos the hard way. I do not imagine it would be the camera to use for special memories, but for what I purchased it for, it works good. I did need to use the Windows Photo editing tool, as closeups were a little difficult at first. This camera does not flash for pictures 3 feet and closer, so secondary light was needed.

2 out of 5 stars great price poor quality   February 9, 2004

I recently received this product and am disappointed. When I uploaded Images to my PC it turned out a little red. The display is just that, don't confuse display and viewfinder. It makes a great camera for your computer but not if you're looking to capture moments. Because of the battery save function it can be greatly time consuming when still-shot taking. If you don't really care of the quality and convinence, then this camera is for you.

1 out of 5 stars THIS CAMERA SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!   June 10, 2004

I recived this camera for Christmas and i figured out that it sucks big time. The pictures came out very blurry and needed a ton of light. I would not recomend this camera for anybody it is overpriced for what it does. I dont think you could use this at all for fast action capture. Overall this camera sucks badley i took mine back to the store. It may sound like a good deal but it isnt, because even out side in bright sunny light my pictures came out badly when holding the camera very still.

I got it as a service award from my company. Glad I didn't spend any money on it. It works as a web cam, or for posting pictures on the web (EBAY etc.), but not great as a camera. The auto turn-off is a pain, because you have to re-select all of your option once it turns off. It also beeps for each option you select. Animals don't like that. Seems to chew up batteries quickly, even when not in use.
