Great Software November 6, 2009 Mark Cassidy (Naugatuck, CT USA) 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
I read some reviews of software to make DVD videos of photo slideshows as well as incorporating video. I think this was one of the highest rated and its strength was that the reviewer said that although its learning curve was greater, it could create professional results. Some software only allows simpler features and less control of the details.
I have used it to create a beautiful slideshow with zooms and pans and music fading in and out and other special effects with scrolling titles, etc. All of my friends and relatives are very impressed with the quality and want to know what I used.
Also I made a DVD for friends and relatives consisting of videos (shot with a Canon 5D Mk ii) and faded them together, added transitions, added text and music. It also looks awesome. In some cases the video is zooming in even though I did not zoom in the camera and text is scrolling/fading.
Another nice feature of this is that once you go through the time-consuming process of creating the image of the video to be written to DVD, it saves it. Later you can simply create copy DVDs of it within 5 minutes each by telling it you want to use the already created version.
This has other capabilities too but I used it for DVD slideshows and for DVD videos.
Slideshows simplified December 22, 2009 Henry F. Bodamer (Pittsburgh City of Champions) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
First off take time to run the tutorial, it's worth the time.Once you have the basics down this is a very fun creator. You can go real simple or make it a real production if you want to.Snyching the music to the slide show couldn't be easier. The number of special effects is huge.Fades, wipes, titles all at the touch of a button. All are drag and drop.Individual photos can be adjusted for actual viewing time.Adjusting music to end when slideshow ends is very easy.Program shows slideshow length and music below so you can adjust photo duration to match music.Importing music to use couldn't be easier.Just open media and find the music you have on your computer drag and drop.If you take you time and follow instructions beginners should have no problems.Experienced computer users can make a jaw dropping slideshow that will impress even the pro's.
Little, if any, instructions! November 29, 2009 Judy Bug (Florida) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This looks like it would be a good product if it provided good instructions. The manual is useless. It tells a lot about what you can do with this product, but very little on how to do it. I'm very disappointed and if I had paid more for it, I would send it back. Also, you are told you can post your slideshows on the web, something I have yet to figure out, but they also want to charge $4.99 for an activation code to post the slideshow in the "optimal" format. Give me a break! One the worst software programs I have ever purchased.

The video tutorial for this product is rather lacking but if you be patient most should be able to figure out how to use it. Once you figure it out it is very versatile and you can produce some very nice looking presentations.I have WOWED family & friends by putting together mementos of various events for them. Embarrassed the family computer guru when she put one together using another product and it was not even close to mine. She now owns this product!
Waste of time February 10, 2010 Louisville Digger 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was able to create nice slideshows, but combining them into a single DVD was very buggy! As mentioned before the support and instruction was terrible. I have used a number of slideshow software, but would advise you to stay away from this one.
