1 out of 5 stars No Real Value   October 24, 2008

Take a look at the "Search Inside" feature before you buy this book! The author simply tells you useless tidbits about the photos that he presents and honestly, the photos are far from being even mediocre.

Inspires me to write a book knowing that this can get published.

1 out of 5 stars Missing the Techniques   October 15, 2008
Dustin M. Sprague (Tokyo)
This book should be named "Photos I took and why I like them" not Professional digital techniques for Nude and Glamour photography! The author forgot to include the Techniques... there is nothing technical about this book, almost no camera settings, or lighting setups. The author just talks about why he likes the photos. This is Not the book to buy if you're looking to learn anything about photography!

5 out of 5 stars Good information - good investment   July 21, 2008

A tour of examples of Bill Lemon's gallery of images wherein each one is described in detail as to how different factors combine to make the image a success. Tips on building a comfortable relationship with models and posing them to emphasize their assets are important areas that are covered. Challenges such as on location and in studio lighting is taken on. Using props and background considerations is helpful and techniques for creating fine art nude images compelling. A practical book that is easy to understand and filled with great advice makes for a worthy investment.

1 out of 5 stars Disappointing   March 3, 2008
Edward C. Foge (San Francisco Bay Area)

This book is disappointing compared to many of the glamour books for digital photographers that are now available. Author Bill Lemon offers little that is new and rehashes much of the same info that is already out there. Save your money on this purchase and look around a little more before you buy. You can do much better for your money.
