The Olympus Evolt E-620 SLR Digital Camera features a high resolution 12.3 megapixel Live-MOS image sensor, TruePic III+ processing and a flip-out 2.7" HyperCrystal III LCD. Autofocus Live View provides users with the choice of framing images through the viewfinder or the LCD. In addition to Face Detection, Shadow Adjustment, and In-body Image Stabilization, the E-620 features six newly developed Art Filters and in-camera multiple exposure, while an integrated anti-dust system keeps images spot free.
The Olympus Zuiko 14-42mm Digital Zoom Lens is a 3x standard zoom lens that features a closest focusing distance of only 25cm. Two aspherical lens elements correct aberrations.
The Olympus Zuiko 40-150mm Digital Zoom Lens is essentially a 300mm (35mm equivalent) lens in a short 7.2cm body with ED lens elements, ensuring both picture quality and portability.

A lot of people overlook this camera, it truly is one of the best mid-range DSLR's out there. Having owned many Olympus camera's (since the E-10) like the E-500, E-300, E-330, and so on, I can attest to their quality and results. I still consider other brands when buying, but Olympus is where I look first.
The "kit" lenses supplied with Oly's cameras are really very good and all the others offered are top notch as well.
A real big plus, rarely mentioned, is that there are a ton of exquisite Olympus lenses out there from the film days that you can mount (with an adapter) and use. This opens up a new world of shooting and is a ton of fun, besides.
All in all, this has to be one of the best values around currently.

You can't beat the price for the E620 with the 14-42mm, 40-150mm Zuiko lenses with 8GB memory card, spare battery, and case. I am still learning about the camera and taken some test pictures. Great package! I'm transitioning from the original Olympus OM-2n SLR to the E-620 DSLR, small learning curve. I haven't found a better price for all the items if purchased separately.

I'm by no means an expert, but his kit is a really good deal. The camera is great, it makes beautiful pictures, the flipping display is absolutely smart, comes in very handy and the battery lasts very long. The case is quite big, so you can use it for safe storage of your camera and several lenses at home, but it's too bulky to carry it around with you (unless this is the only bag you're taking). The card reader worked great at first, now for some reason it's making some problems. But there is a USB Cable which works just as great, so I don't mind. The quality of the camera and the lenses is amazing and already worth the buy.
