Powered by two AA batteries, the A730 even has an SD/SDHC memory card slot expandable up to an amazing 4 gigabytes.

Youll be hard pressed to find a more feature-rich entry-level camera. And thats why the A730 is one of the first cameras worthy of the GE name.

5 out of 5 stars A great little camera for the price   May 14, 2008

I bought this camera in a pinch and it has done everything I asked and more. It's picture quality is awesome and it can do action shots for my daughter's softball and basketball games. I am impressed so far. I did buy the rechargeable batteries which everyone should own. A great little camera for the price. It took great prom pictures and can do panoramic, action shots, black & white, sepia. It is amazing for an entry level camera.

    Easiest digital camera I've ever tried - - - even my 8-year old grandson uses with ease - - - a wonderful first digital to use ! ! !

I've always been a Canon/Nikon/Minolta fan but because of a discount I decided to try this GE out. You have to hold the button down for a full second (if not longer) for the picture to take which is long even by digital standards. I used it at a work event and the pictures came out fuzzy- and even worse when I used the "sport" setting. It may be okay for outside use but I found it frustrating and won't be able to use it as I intended. I certainly wouldn't give it to someone else to use. Digital cameras have come a long way and other than liking the color (and knowing that no one would take it) this doesn't reflect any of the technological advances that my other digital does (a Canon Ixus that I bought two years ago.) It also has a different size plug into the camera than standard which is inconvenient because you can't easily swap devices connected to your computer.

4 out of 5 stars Pretty good.   July 18, 2008

It came quickly, works fine. It's not as nice as my last camera so there's some disappointment, but my last camera, though when I bought it was comparable in price, is now wicked more expensive. So, for the price, this camera is good. But you can find better deals on amazon....sometimes.

This camera works as best as it can
I believe the only bad things that make this camera suck are the following: You can't take a fast enough picture
If you hands shake dont buy this camera
When the videos come out they are blurry
if you accidently drop this camera the lens will break
the red camera is not as shiny as the black one
(the color is more of a kid setting )
Suggestions if you are desperate for this red camera:
    *buy a warranty
    have fun!!!!!
